Find Your Fade Shawl Class: March 23 & 30
Thursdays, March 23 & 30 from 6 - 8 PM
Get creative with color and knit the stunning Find Your Fade shawl. This beauty comprised of garter stitch and simple lace work, along with gradual color changes called "color melting." Use one, three, five, or even seven colors to create your "Fade" that's uniquely yours.
This class is intended for adventurous beginner/advanced beginner knitters.
Homework: Knit your gauge swatch: 20 stitches and 46 rows = 4 " in garter stitch (measured after blocking).
Supplies needed: Find Your Fade shawl pattern, 1540 yards of fingering yarn -- choose one, 3, 5, 7 or more colors (our current favorite is Woolen Boon Classic, though Madelinetosh Twist Light and Tosh Merino Light would make excellent choices, too), US 4 - 32" circular needle (or size needed to obtain gauge), stitch markers, and yarn needle to be purchased at Home Made.
Class fee includes two 2-hour sessions. Supplies are sold separately.
Please review our class policies here before registering.
