Super Bulky Fringe Cowl

Super Bulky Fringe Cowl

A few nights ago I knit this Super Bulky Fringe Cowl with new-to-us Cascade Yarns' Magnum. Yep, in one night. A perfect reprieve from my sweater knitting. The speedy-ness of this project has little do to with my knitting abilities and everything to do with the super bulky wool and size US 19 knitting needles. I have one regret with this project -- that I hadn't made it before crazy the arctic freeze that happened over the weekend.

This cowl is knit flat and then the ends are grafted together. You add the fringe as the final touch -- adding a bit of boho chic style. I'm a fan. I'm also easily sold on any project that has pom poms, bobbles, or fringe.

If you haven't tried a provisional cast on with kitchener stitch, let this be a perfect excuse to try! I prefer the one-step crochet provisional cast on and the pattern has instructions to walk you through the kitchener stitch.

Will you make a Super Bulky Fringe Cowl???
