Anna Maria Horner's Loominous Fabric

The latest drool-worthy fabric to arrive to the shop are these lovely yarn-dyed wovens. Designed by Anna Maria Horner for Freespirit Fabrics, you'll find these modern fabrics a bit lighter than your regular quilting cottons. The result is a beautifully draping fabric you can use for garments, quilts, and home decor. Wouldn't that snow color fabric with metallic gold check (center) make stunning Christmas stockings or tree skirt or holiday dinner napkins?!

Since I'm on a garment-making kick, I'm about to start a Beatrix top in the green blue plaid (second from left). Though, these fabrics would look great as a Riding Peplum or Tova, too!

For non-garment projects, check out this beautiful quilt.

Robert Kaufman Kona Cotton

Oh, and we got in a whole bunch of new Kona Cottons from Robert Kaufman! Perfect for so many projects. Are you in charge of making your little angel a costume for the Christmas pageant? We have your angel fabric!  I remember my my mom making my angel costume, complete with wings made of gold tinsel. Moms AND gold tinsel wings are THE BEST. (:

What will you sew?

All the fabrics in this post are currently available for purchase in 1/2 yard increments off the bolt. While these are not listed in our online shop, just send an email to helloATbehomemadeDOTcom or call 609.536.2940 and we can put together a mail order through email. Easy peasy.

So glad you have Kona solids. They are often hard to find good solids!
