Drop Stitch Cowl & Gift Certificate Promotion

Drop Stitch Cowl in Madelinetosh Home

This is the time of year where I start to wonder exactly how realistic I am being with my handmade gift plans. The answer is usually NOT VERY. Then there's the creative folks who could make their own gifts so what the heck are you supposed to get them?! If you join me in these thoughts, I have some ideas! Of course I do. (:

First, the Drop Stitch Cowl knitting pattern has been around for a while and is a lifesaver when you're pressed for time but want to gift something handmade. With just one skein of Madelinetosh Home, a size US 15 - 16" circular needle, and a few hours, you can pull off a beautiful and fashionable cowl. I know I'm talking about gifts here, but I couldn't resist making myself one in the color Candlewick. I've been wearing it non-stop since it's a nice pick-me-up with the world getting dark at lunchtime. . . Whether you make a Drop Stitch Cowl as a gift or for yourself (no judgement), this is a perfect last-minute project.

Second, we're offering an exciting promotion with gift certificates to our brick & mortar shop. For every gift certificate purchased through December 24, we'll add 10% to the amount. So, for $30 you'll get a $33 gift card, for $50 you'll get a $55 gift card, for $75 you'll get a gift card for $82.50, for $100 you'll get a gift card for $110, and so on. And, while gift certificates are currently only redeemable in our brick and mortar shop, we are happy to send gift certificates in the mail for your holiday shopping convenience! Just call 609-536-2940 or email helloATbehomemadeDOTcom and we'll get on it.

You can find the free Drop Stitch Cowl pattern here.

You can buy Madelinetosh Home yarn here.

And, feel free to share this post with family and friends as a not-so-subtle hint that what you really really want for is a Home Made gift certificate! ;)
