Today I thought I'd share the progress I'm making on my Blank Canvas sweater since our Blank Canvas Knit-A-Long starts next Tuesday! I'm calling it a Knit-A-Long because it's not quite our typical knitting class format.
Every Tuesday night throughout July and August, we'll provide the space and instruction to help you along on your own Blank Canvas sweater. Everyone works at their own pace, but I will share that my personal goal is to finish by Labor Day. You can attend only the workshops that fit your summer schedule. Just pay the $10 class fee whichever meetings you decide to attend. Participants also receive 10% OFF their Blank Canvas yarn purchase! If you're interested, be sure to check out the details here.
I've given myself a teensy head start on this project and have made it to the waist portion of this pattern. I love how the Madelinetosh Tosh DK in Onyx has oh-so-subtle variation in color. This is definitely a sweater that I'll get a lot of wear out of which was my main goal in choosing black.
