Striped Fingerless Mittens

March 25, 2011 Julie

Yay, the sun is finally out! Since it’s still a bit chilly out, some fingerless mittens are a perfect (and very practical) accessory. Thankfully, Julia stopped by so I could enlist some modeling help for the newest class project: Striped Fingerless Mittens.

I designed this class as a follow-up to Beginner Knitting so new knitters could make another small project practicing the garter stitch and changing yarn colors.  These mittens are knit flat and then seamed up the side, leaving some space for your thumb. Even if you haven’t taken our Beginner Knitting class, this is a great class if you know how to knit but want to learn more.

This project uses Blue Sky Alpacas Sport Weight yarn and size 4 needles. New classes and dates/times are updated regularly here so check it out and give us a call or stop in to sign up!
