You know summer has arrived when Memorial Day Weekend rolls around and the traffic on Route 9 increases and slows down as all the new and returning faces head to Sea Isle and Avalon and Stone Harbor. Some of you will stay for the summer or just a weekend here or there. “Down the shore” (as I’ve learned you Pennsylvanians call this area) becomes hopping with activity.

It looks like we’ve been blessed with some beautiful weekend weather. Hopefully, I’ll be joining you on the beach on Monday. But, until then, Home Made will be open both Saturday (11AM – 530PM) and Sunday (11AM – 3PM).

Stop on in and check out the shop and the new classes I’ve added to the lineup so you can get your craft on this summer. Click here to see the latest class listing, which includes Blue Sky Alpacas Reversible Hat for you fearless knitters who want to learn how to use double pointed needles (it’s not as scary as you think!) or tackle your first sock and “turn the heel.” I also added more dates for the popular “Quilt in a Day” workshop and will be adding cute bag (because when do you not need a cute bag?)!

Remember, you can call 609.536.2940 or stop in to register for any classes. And, you’re always welcome to pull together a group of your friends to schedule a private class for your own Girls’ Night Out. (:

Have a wonderful and safe Memorial Day Weekend. And, Happy BBQ-ing! (um, where’s my invite?!?)
