I love decorating for the holidays, especially when I have little elves to help–many thanks to Mom and Rochelle! This past weekend, we put up the tree, set candles and swags in the windows, and made and hung colorful paper ornaments from the ceiling to begin spreading the holiday cheer. You can find a great tutorial for making the paper ornaments here.
Paper ornaments in every room! And, Dad came up with a solution for some extra shelving–see what used to be a doorway?! We’re not sure what we’re doing with that door that we took down, but I’m sure we’ll think of something. . .
Now, I have more space to display fabric and our new Rifle Paper Co. stationery! Seriously, Rifle Paper Co. knows how to do paper. In addition to these holiday cards and postcards, the shop is now stocked with their notecards, greeting cards, and notepads. Speaking of holiday cards, I’ve gotta start working on mine to send off ! Though, it is only December 1st. I’ve got a little bit of time yet. It is only December 1st. Repeat mantra, replacing with appropriate date, to calm yourself and potentially encourage procrastination. . .
How have you decorated for the holidays? And, do you send holiday greeting cards?
