That’s right, I’ve just added a new project to our class offerings in the Home Made studio — the Lazy Days Skirt by Oliver + S! And, I’ll be adding even more classes soon bearing in mind how many of you have told me how you covet the Charm Clutch.
Just like the Oliver + S patterns that I sell in the Home Made shop, the Lazy Days Skirt pattern has clear instructions, easy-t0-follow diagrams, and helpful tips and tricks. The end result is an irresistible and modern take on handmade children’s clothing.
I made my Lazy Days Skirt in a print from Lotta Jansdotter’s Echo fabric collection (because I’m addicted to this print) with a grey ribbon hem. And, because one just wasn’t enough, I made a slightly larger version in fabric from Denyse Schmidt’s Flea Market Fancy collection with a pink ribbon hem. These are skirts meant for twirling!
This class is great for those of you who have already spent a little bit of time with a sewing machine but know you could hang out some more. Like, maybe you’re just acquaintances after one or two projects and not BFF’s quite yet. YET! The Lazy Days Skirt Class will teach you (or remind you) how to square up your fabric, create an elastic waistband, and hide that bottom seam with a sweet ribbon hem.So, check out our classes page by clicking here. And, call or stop in to register! 609.536.2940
The beautiful and soft fabric you see (but cannot feel online, obviously), along with Oliver + S sewing patterns, are available for purchase in the Home Made shop.
