Maya by Leah Duncan{From left to right: Dots in Desert Sky, Comal in Saffron, Manana in Clay, Rivera in Blue, Triangles in Desert Sky, San Miguel in Clay, Maria in Desert Sky, and Eva in Desert Sky}

Hey everybody, this is Maya.
Maya, this is everybody. (:

The latest fabric I’ve added to the shop is a collection of quilting cottons by Leah Duncan for Anthology Fabrics called Maya. This fabric immediately spoke to me, probably because it is quirky and folky with a little bit of an edge to it. And, the colors are just right. This fabric is best viewed while listening to a new single from Regina Spektor by clicking here. Can’t wait for the entirety of her new album to be released next month!

To speak a little about my new love affair with this fabric, I cut two yards of that beauty you see in the center, Triangles in Desert Sky, immediately after taking the bolts out of the box. I promptly put it in the wash in hopes I’ll find some time to work on a new spring top today. What have you been stitching?

The Maya fabric collection is available for purchase in the Home Made shop in fat quarter bundles as well as cuts by the quarter yard!
