I suppose it’s a good thing when your business’ 2nd birthday slips your mind because you’re busy doing your thing. Like getting all this new fabric in the shop! Here‘s how we celebrated last year.

Yep, Home Made turned 2 on January 29th and I can’t think of a better way to celebrate than by bringing in even more good stuff. Sure, I’ve done some reflection on how different my life was before opening up Home Made and how my shop is growing into its toddler years. But, let’s talk about that later.

Today, I want to celebrate Home Made’s 2nd birthday with you with some new Robert Kaufman fabric. Over the last two years, Home Made’s inventory has more than doubled which feels like quite a feat for a small town shop like mine. And, for just about the last two years or longer, I’ve had my eye on Robert Kaufman fabrics. I just needed to patiently wait for the right time to introduce all the lovelies that you see today.

You may already know that Robert Kaufman has terrific prints (as you will see below) along with fabulous basics that’ll work with many projects. Or, they can be simply beautiful on their own.

{Let me pull out my megaphone.}

We now have Robert Kaufman Quilter’s Linen and KONA solids, both of medium-weight cotton! We’ve got Essex, a cotton/linen blend! We have CANVAS (not pictured is Robert Kaufman Outback Canvas in white and natural)!

Robert Kaufman Essex Fabric{Robert Kaufman Essex in Ivory + Flax}

And, of course, I couldn’t resist a few new prints. Like owls!

Urban Zoologie Owl Fabric{Ann Kelle’s Urban Zoologie in Owls in Blue + Owls in Pink}

And, bikes!!!

Everyday Favorites Bicycle Fabric{Mary Lake’s Everyday Favorites in Bicycles in Yellow + Bicycles in Red}

I’d say Home Made has come a long way since our less-than-stocked shelves two Januarys ago. (: Thanks for sticking it out with me! We’ll be sure to have ourselves a toast at Pub Knit this Sunday.

Now, what are we gonna make with all this good stuff???
