Oliver + S at the Seashore

Oliver + S Seashore Sundress

Being just six miles from the beach, how could I resist stitching up this sweet dress in our newest fabric from Tula Pink’s Salt Water collection?

A Seashore Sundress in seashore fabric at the Jersey seashore!

The Seashore Sundress is a fabulous dress pattern from Oliver + S, available in sizes 6M all the way up to +12. Rated one out of four scissors in difficulty, you got this.

The smaller sizes offer these lil’ bloomers, too! But, perhaps more importantly, this dress has pockets! Pockets for collecting seashells and sorts of other small treasures. Because she never knows when she’s going to need that lip balm, purple crayon, notepad, and My Little Pony! Maybe that was just me in the ’80s. Before clothing designers figured out the awesomeness of pockets on dresses. Which left me no other option but to pack a much larger purse full of all of my treasures to carry everywhere.

Another of my favorite Oliver + S pattern is their Sleepover Pajamas. This pattern offers instruction for pajamas with OR without a ruffle. Because sometimes a gal wants some ruffle!

For the fellas, I just love this set in the sailboats from Michéle Brummer Everett’s Seven Seas collection for Cloud9 Fabrics. Modeled by the handsome Adam. Again, Oliver + S understand the importance of clear instructions and perfectly placed details in their patterns. Like pockets.

This pattern is rated two out of four scissors in difficulty, so give it a try. You may just surprise and impress yourself! But, how will we ever find out if you don’t give it a whirl. . .

You can find these fun fabrics, sewing patterns, buttons, thread, pattern tracing material, as well as lots of other sewing accessories and encouragement for completing your next sewing project at Home Made!
