Welcome to the second part of showing off all the gorgeous new SweetGeorgia Yarns that recently arrived to the shop. Today I’m sharing their delicious Superwash DK, a 100% superwash merino yarn that’s terrifically lightweight, has beautiful hand-dyed tonal colors, and can be put it in the washing machine! Though, superwash knits are best left to dry flat rather than tumbling around in that machine dryer. Be good to your projects — you worked hard on them!

Again, my photography skills leave a little to be desired when it comes to photographing these hand dyed yarns. The colors are sometimes so subtly pretty that they’re best seen in person and not left to amateur photography from yours truly. Plus, you get the experience of feeling that squishy softness, too!

You can also see how these colors knit up by going to SweetGeorgia’s website and check out swatches for the variegated and semi-solid color ways.

Wrapped in Leaves is just one of twelve designs inspired by trees and foliage to be found in Botanical Knits. I’ve got copies for sale in the shop, so be sure to take a look when you pop in for a SweetGeorgia fix.
