Madelinetosh Twist Care for MSF

Do you know about Doctors Without Borders (Medecins Sans Frontieres or MSF)? Since 1971, MSF has been helping people worldwide where the need is greatest by delivering emergency medical aid to people affected by conflict, epidemics, disasters or exclusion from health care. For instance, the Ebola epidemic in West Africa.

Well, Madelinetosh has created a special, limited edition rainbow colorway for their Twist Light yarn and will be donating 100% of their profits from this yarn to MSF. Their goal is to raise $10K by the end of November. Pretty cool, eh?

You guessed it! A limited quantity of this limited edition yarn is now available at Home Made. (: So, stop by to grab a skein or few to enjoy this fabulous yarn and support MSF.

A few details about Madelinetosh Twist Light yarn so you can start dreaming up what you’ll knit: it’s 75% super wash merino and 24% nylon, there are 420 yards in each skein, it’s fingering weight, and it can withstand a wash in your machine but needs to dry flat. In other words, it’d be perfect for socks, a hat, a shawl or even a sweater! You got options. Lots of options. (:

P.S. I know it’s not yet Halloween, but if you’re starting to think about holiday gifts — a skein of this yarn would be a pretty rockin’ one for your favorite knitter. Just sayin’. . .
Madelinetosh limited edition Twist Light for MSF is available for purchase at Home Made, while supplies last. Don’t live nearby? Just call 609.536.2940 and we’ll put together a mail order.
