Last week I finished and blocked Parquet, the shawlette I had been working on for about month. With charted instructions and three sections of lace and cable stitches, this project was really fun and interesting to knit.
Both the pattern and yarn are from The Fibre Company — this project knits up with 3 skeins of Canopy Fingering, their bouncy and snuggly fingering weight yarn made of baby alpaca, merino and bamboo. Mmmm. We used this yarn for our Featherweight cardigans, too. I chose an understated gray called River Dolphin so my stitches would shine and this shawlette would be versatile enough to wear with most outfits.
