Baker Island Hat & Clayoquot Toque Classes

Baker Island Hat

I've just added two new hat classes to the Summer line-up that will hopefully inspire you to try some new knitting techniques. And enjoy gorgeous yarn. Of course. ;)

The first project is the super chic Baker Island made with The Fibre Co. Acadia yarn. Challenge yourself to knit from a chart and create those beautiful and unique cables that make this hat extra special.

The second project is the super fun Clayoquot Toque made with Hikoo Kenzie yarn. In addition to following a simple chart, you'll be knitting with two -- sometimes three -- colors of yarn at the same time to create that beautiful stranded color work.

I think hats are such a great canvas for experimenting with new techniques because they are small and manageable. Great practice before tackling larger projects like shawls and sweaters! That is, if you already know how to knit a hat. If you don't already know how to knit a hat, then our Simple Hat Class is right up your alley!
