It's about that time that I begin a new sweater to knit along with our Tuesday night Sweater Club. I had finished knitting this sweater a few weeks ago and, even though I daydreamed about knitting this beautiful linen tank, I had a few shop samples to knit. Super gratifying, fairly quick knits like this, this, this and this. A fun break from sweater knitting.
This week, I finally made my gauge swatch and cast on for Saco Stripes, a perfect tank for Summer and a refreshing knit since there's no sleeves! No sleeves! Sleeves are my least favorite part of knitting sweaters. . . You?
Both the Saco Stripes pattern and Sparrow yarn are from Quince & Co. Sparrow is their fingering weight linen yarn and I've chosen the colors Sans for my main color and Paprika for the stripes.
Quince & Co. linen yarns Kestrel and Sparrow as well as their patterns are available in-store.
