Last weekend my parents visited my brother and sister-in-law in Pennsylvania. A long overdue trip after Mom and Dad had spent months helping me prepare Home Made for its opening. I could tell both my parents were suffering from Finn withdrawal and desperately needed a fix.
A wise little Finn had pink roses waiting for his grandmother upon her arrival, already up-staging my father for Valentine’s Day (frankly, I don’t know how Dad could even compete with a super cute baby with flowers – one who allegedly only laughs the hardest and smiles the biggest when prompted by his Mimi).
Of course, Finn’s Mimi didn’t arrive empty-handed either. She had knit her valentine Spud & Chloe’s Hoot Hat, finishing it on the road.
My mother hadn’t even completed one Hoot Hat before she decided that every baby in our extended family needed one. An obvious conclusion when it looks this adorable!
Both the Hoot hat pattern and Spud & Chloe Outer yarn are available in the Home Made shop.
