Don’t forget that our Craftin’ for a Cause pillowcase-makin’ event with ConKerr Cancer is TOMORROW!!! Since my first post about the event, we’ve already had 16 donated pillowcases for those who tackled the project on their own. How great is that?! Home Made is a drop off spot so you can continue to drop off your pillowcase donations here and we’ll make sure they get to ConKerr Cancer volunteers. Now, how many more pillowcases do you think we’ll make tomorrow???
Don’t know what I’m talking about? Well, the short of it is that Home Made has teamed up with ConKerr Cancer to host a day of stitching fun pillowcases for sick kids at Cape Regional Medical Center, Shore Memorial Hospital, Atlanticare Regional Medical Center, and Southern NJ Regional Medical Center.
Here’s what you need to know:
WHEN: TOMORROW, Saturday, March 24, stop in anytime from 11 AM – 3 PM
WHERE: Home Made, 1761 N. Route 9 in Swainton (next to Sand Barrens). You can find directions here.
WHAT: Stop by, choose two fabrics, and stitch a pillowcase—no sewing experience required! ConKerr Cancer volunteers will take care of washing, packaging, and dropping off to area hospitals. Ages 8+ are welcome!
(Though, kids must be accompanied by an adult).
COST: $12 to participate (includes all materials)
See you soon!
